We weren't looking for a new rug, but when we were in Santa Barbara over Memorial Day weekend, we happened into a lovely Turkish import shop in State Street called Seven Hills, and before we knew it, we were looking at rugs. George has long been looking to find something else for the office. We picked out a beautiful Sirvan wool rug, approximately 3x5 (so not quite as long as what we have). I thought it looked lovely in the office, but like the Moroccan carpet before it, George wasn't satisfied, and it has now ended up at the foot of the stairs. Either way, it's a beautiful addition to our home.
