Today they worked on the lawn perimeter path some more. On the west side, they broke up the stones a bit smaller and more varied, and set them on concrete (but just underneath the stone, kind of like a mushroom stem, so there will be dirt around them for grass or thyme). On the east side, they started to lay them out.
Meanwhile, on the fireplace, they mudded in the face of the firebox, and they set the flagstone on the chimney top and a section of the wall caps.
